Kenneth Cohen is the founder, owner and President of New York-based Pantheon Properties, Inc., one of the leading full-service developers of industrial and commercial projects and a fully integrated owner, operator and developer of commercial and industrial real estate. A 28-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Ken has established an impressive portfolio of properties through successful aquisitions, development, leasing, management and construction.
Pantheon has for over 20 years been a stategic joint venture partner with Canyon Capital Realty Advisors, a money management firm and registered investment advisor based in Los Angeles. Together, Pantheon and Canyon have participated in more than 10 million square feet of real estate transactions. The partnership contiinues to own and operate 2.3 million square feet of industrial and commercial space in he Northeast and 860,000 square feet in Florida. In addition Pantheon has a joint venture partnership with Principal Real Estate Investors as well as a series of successful private real estate syndications.
Ken began his career in 1983 as a commercial real estate broker for SBWE, Inc., a prominent commercial brokerage firm, where he was invilved in the conclusion of real estate transactions in excess of $200 million.
Ken left SBWE, Inc., in 1994 as senior vice president and founded Pantheon Properties, to target value-added opportunities for acquisition, development and redevelopment of industrial properties. In a joint venture with Canyon that started in 1995, Pantheon developed and expanded in 2008 a now 851,000 square foot build-to-suit distribution and customer service facility for Coach Leatherwear, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born and raised in New York, Ken lives in Manhattan. He has two sons, Lucas and Caleb, and his older son Lucas has recently joined him in the business.
